today, PEAK Detour skiied the Star.
i wasn't sure how well i'd do, considering the fact that i haven't put on a pair of skis for two years.
but just as i had hoped, it was like riding a bike. i skiied like a pro (well, not quite, but you get what i'm try to say). i forgot how much i like skiing!
it was a good time. i know i had fun :)
i got to sink my teeth into the legendary Silver Star fries, which were totally worth the 3.75$ (plus tax).
"artistic" photos were taken, along with very unflattering ones.
we also had a run-in with some of last year's grads:
exes shared awkward hugs and glances, we watched one of the Mackenzie twins get destroyed on an ill-fated jump, and I had the "pleasure" in experiencing a very forced, kindergarten-esque wave from across Whiskey Jack from a guy i used to be pretty good friends with.
*shudder*
i absolutely hate when that happens. it kills me a little inside.
oh yeah....
i am completely aware that Loud Laugh Boy treats pretty much any girl who isn't horribly disfigured like that, but that doesn't mean i don't appreciate the flirtation and attention.
"it's the risk that makes me interested."
"i keep wanting to call you Gemma. Because you're such a gem ;) "
"i LOVE that about you!"
oh, keep it coming...
