un jour dans ma vie

• oh my god the Bell salesman. he's like hugh jackman but younger and waaaay hotter. here, in our humble little town! oh, and he teased us with his sideways smirk, phone demonstrations, cute freckles and his, oh, you know, STOMACH. siiiiiiiigh. what a gorgeous creature! "sexy and electronic", indeed.
• i got jewelry (necklace and earrings) for grad from Blackbird boutique today. they're vintage. i never wear earrings and think they make me look really weird, but my mother INSISTS. hey, as long as she's buying...
• i got abducted today in between french blocks. quinton, zak, rhianne, kayla, kaylee, cameron, keenan, and i all piled into quinton's huge SUV, blasted techno music, drove recklessly (sans seatbelts), picked up some Hot n' Ready and offended lots of people on the sidewalks along the way. SO MUCH POINTLESS FUN.
• i'm going actual rock climbing tomorrow for PEAK. no more multi-coloured climbing walls for us. i think i'll cry a little bit. i'm so terrified.
• speaking of PEAK, who's beating at least three of the boys in the course? I AM. this makes me giddy with satisfaction. i may or may not have pumped my fists a couple of times. "i'm so proud of you!"
• i bought Metric's "Fantasies" today and i'm currently listening to it. i'm SO happy they're back, and with a really good album, no less.
• what is it with boys and my sunglasses? i mean, i know they're awesome in all of their 8o's glory, but there is something about those bad boys (the sunglasses, i mean) that just makes boys wanna rip them off my face and wear them. the list just grows and grows each day.
• i miss Mrs. Dolcetti. GET WELL SOON =) i'm tired of Rock n' Rollen.

maintain a sliding glass door! (like a boss)

just once, just once, would i like to come home and NOT have to deal with some kind of a maintenance man.
there seems to be so many around my house lately.
a guy just left; i'm not even sure what he came here to maintain.
he was working on whatever it was in front of the sliding glass doors, and i'm pretty sure he saw me at least once fiercely lip-synching to Rosario Dawson's rendition of "Out Tonight". whoops...
THEN he came in the house to get his extension cord right when i was blaring The Lonely Island's "Like a Boss".
you know, the Andy Samberg-lead song that goes "suck a guy's dick! (like a boss) shit on deborah's desk! (like a boss)..."

today, i have...

• woke up at 9:00 a.m.
• read the review and style sections of the Globe & Mail
• drank coffee
• walked my dog for almost two hours
• enjoyed the spring weather (SO MUCH)
• bought an Arizona Tea and latest issue of Glamour magazine (i have an addiction to magazines. it's out of control) at Lakeview Market. i love the korean family that runs it :)
• read my magazine
• watched The Real World: Brooklyn reunion. they really don't like each other much, do they? on the plus side, Ryan and Baya are a sort-of couple :)
• ate some Eggos at 2 in the afternoon for lunch. those are tasty mofos...
• blogged about my day.
